I believe you mean 'kettenkraftrad'.

Italeri did release a 1/9 Kettenkraftrad (7404) in 2017.

Nice to see large scale soft skins. Hope this is a sign of more good things to come in larger scale. I'm talking more !/24 and !/16 scale. Give me a few more years and my eye's will be ready for 1/9 and 1/6 scale. Dave M

It's been over 30 years since my Dad gave away my Esci Kubel while I was elsewhere.....but this looks very much like it to me. I'm only guessing, but I think these are the same old molds. Those "rubber like" seats look very familiar to me.

Most people would simply call it a "Kettenkrad" and be done with it. A Kubel this big would make the GI Joe fans happy, that's for sure. I'd rather build Rye Field's new Puma. The resulting dio would be so much easier to handle.

This is a re-release of the ESCI kit. Parts are laid out exactly the same on the sprues. Cheers,

Continuing with the kettenkrad topic, Dragon did a release of it with a Gebirgsjaeger driver and Revell of Germany did it a number of years back as well. Have one of those just haven't gotten around to building it yet.

The color of the plastic apart, I can't see any differences between the Esci original of 1976 vintage and the Italeri "new" kit: LINK

The original Joes are 1/6 scale, so this would be a touch small for them.
