Kit looks nice. Now could they issue a Cougar MRAP? Very similar to the Mastiff minus the windows on the sides and front doors.

It would seem that the Gordon has not had the best of luck over the last three or so months. I believe he's had a family crisis since before Christmas, which escalated over the holiday period. Then with all the bad weather up North of the border, he was flooded out, and a considerable ammount of moulds and equipment was damaged in his factory. What with the family crisis and the flooding, he was hit quite hard. But I for one would hope he gets over both of these problems, so that he can get down to doing what he does best, providing the modelling world with some of the best modern AFVs' on the scene at present. Do I see that he has a new location, has he moved from, Craigmont Street ?? Or is it just temporary? The MASTIFF with BAR armour, a great kit, I did hear he was having a small problem with the bar armour, and wasn't sending any kits out untill it was corrected. I suppose that is why, after he took £165.00 off my Credit Card in October, failed to tell me he had when we spoke at the IPMS at Telford 9 days later, that I wasn't going to get one Then after lots of non answered emails and phone calls, on 21 Nov 09, he sent me a new updated price list, with a 10% discount for ordering before Dec 25th, I took him up on the offer, ordering a second MASTIFF, and 3 sets of modern GB AFV crews, sending the order with a cheque for a further £163.85, by recorded delivery so that I was sure it would get there in time for the discount to be taken off. I spoke to Ian Hannratty of Friendship Models, who confirmed that Gordon had received It on 23rd Dec 09. There will be those of you out there saying "What on earth are you doing sending a further £163.85 by cheque 2 months after he has taken £165.00 from your Credit Card, you might get your money back from the C.C. Company, but not a lot of chance for the cheque". Well I suppose, if it was me and in the same circumstances, I'd hope for a bit of leeway. Plus what do I do if I want any other model kits from him?? A small email saying, "Sorry got problems, will be sending basic mastiff, bar armour to follow" would calm a raging sea. But, as of yet. there has been neither. Mastiffs', figures nor email !!
