A few months ago, we ran the report that a 'New' division had been created by LionRoar to produce injection-moulded models. Now, Great Wall Hobby have announced a series of updates.
There are a total of three New updates for the sWS (Cargo) and the sWS (UHU). These are:

L3512S - Resin Tarp for sWS General Cargo Version

L3512T - Upgrade PE Set for sWS General Cargo Version

L3515 - WWII German Infrared Night-Vision Devices Infrarot-Scheinwerfer 2in1

The latter set should have many applications beyond the sWS - the Panther or the Sd.Kfz251 are just two 'end-users' which come to mind...

Our thanks to Alex Medwell of the Airbrush Company for the Updates!

I waited for this one for a long time. Due to my recent builds I have taken taste in the German IR tank devices. Finally, even if the quality must be great, the kit let me down a bit. Why? There's absolutely no etched (or plastic, resin etc) parts for the IR device on the manntlet or the rear box like on the Panther. Knowing it comes from Lion Roar we could expect more. It's true that the MG version is something not really available but still I prefer to stick with the good, old voyager set. Also, the price is ... hm I prefer the voyager set. my 3 cents spit

I don't have this GWH set, but nonetheless I have to concur with Spit, I'm sticking to the Voyager set. I have 5, 6 whatif projects and they will all have the Voyager set (in due time). Cheers, John Now, if GWH wants to produce add-ons, why not produce the generator that should be fitted in their SWS UHU?

The SWS resin tarp is as expensive as the SWS kit it's designed for, $59.95 from DRAGON USA ONLINE, that is crazy!!! Cheers, Christophe
