SKP Model have just sent us details of their latest release
A week or two ago, Pat posted the story of a New Austin 'Tilly' in 1/35th scale. Now, to fill the space with the hood up, SKP have announced:

SKP086 - Austin 10 Engine

Moulded in resin, with a sheet of PE included, this should really help to detail up the Tilly.

Our thanks to SKP Model for the Update!

Same thought goes through my head too but, now the option is available. Kind of like going to the dentist and having a tooth drilled and getting no filling. But to be fair, I've never dealt with the company before so....

I agree, and considering the cost of the kit, plus this additional cost, will certainly make me think twice about picking this kit up.

After what I paid for the kit, I have to agree. The engine should have already been in the the box. The SKP model is alright but no masterpiece. There is alot of work to be done to make this kit a true winner. Right now you can pick up the Accurate Armour Tilly kit for around $65.00 in some places. By the time I add the SKP engine to my purchase I'll be over that for the plastic SKP offering..all I can say is Grrrrr and that next time I'll wait a few months before laying out the cash for something sparkly.
