IBG Models who have been producing a nice range of softskins in 1/72 have announced some new Allied trucks in 1/35.
Spotted at the Nuremburg Fair and confirmed by modeler on the ground who checked with IBG was a poster which promised a C15A and Bedford QLD in 1/35 scale.

Happy days for Allied modelers.

This is great news, I have a couple of the 1/72 kits and they are great even if markings are mainly for Polish Allied units (QLD and QLR). This is most welcome thank you IBG

Wow! 40 years of the meager offerings from Tamiya and Italeri, now new companies everywhere! And it seems manufacturers can't wait to release Allied subjects the last two years! It's like a huge beautiful wave and we're along for a sweet ride!

Hi Matt, Too true. I was thinking that is they did their first 15cwt with the No 11 Cab rather than the No 13 cab, that it would be a much better opening kit as it would be brand new in 1/35 scale and probably more popular than the 15cwt with the No 13 cab which has been available from Italeri for years. These are certainly great days. I shall await developments. Al

This is good news. More Allied stuff, AND more soft skins. Now is somebody would just come out with some more Allied artillery, 6 pounder, 17 pounder, 5.5 inch, etc. to pull behind.
