IMV Bushmaster in 1/35th Scale - First Glimpse

Show Case Models of Australia, have announced their first 1/35th scale Armor Model - the IMV Bushmaster.

John Xigalatas has just mailed us with advance (CAD) images of the new model.

The kit is due for release November and will retail for $59.95.

Hi Henk. In regards to the differences between the Dutch and Aus PMV there is a few. Externally the big one is the add-on armour. Also there is an additional sheet metal cover on the roof. Not sure what that was for but it may have been ECM related (not going there). The antennas and AMU are different because of the different comms suite. They don't tend to use the spare wheel cover on the back either. Inside the first thing we noticed was that the water tank is not fitted and the filler cap is blanked over and the pump not fitted. The comms as mentioned are different including the harness. Plus they didn't have the spoil liners inside. That's about all that I can remember from seeing them in the Ghan. Oh and the big one was your guys could do what most crewman do to their vehicles and modify as need be such as installing a fridge by redirecting the cold air from the AC. We on the other hand aren't even allowed to bolt a drink holder in. One last thing was the Dutch soldiers I spoke to said they didn't have Command Vehicle Variants

I cant get any concrete news from anyone about arelease date - but this site seems to think its in a few days - LINK scroll down and it says release date is 30th january 2011. patience is apparently a virtue. I am so virtuous from being patient with this one I think Im a virgin again. Adam

Hi Ed. John will reply. He has been getting a lot of pre-order requests so it takes him a while to answer back to everyone. But he does reply. He sent me a reply about a week after I placed my order. Cheers, John
