NATO in Miniatures shares their latest 1/35 scale figures as "work in progess" with KitMaker Network readers, hoping to promote constructive discussion before finalizing both projects:
SAS Platoon Leader

The Bundeswehr Sniper

Both figure masters are sculpted by Dmitri Shevtsov. Again, the idea behind publishing these WiP photos here is to get the response from all you modelers... tell us what you think about these figures, tell us if anything needs to be improved... and remember, NATO in Miniatures is listening to your feedback!

Thanks to Dmitri Baev for supplying these photos!

It is good to see you are diversifying your figure portfolio, Dmitri. I'm very glad to see German and British figures in your catalogue and I hope they will be interesting for figure modelers. I know you usually work with photos of the real soldiers as a template for sculpting figures. Any photos of these two? Mario

The german sniper looks really great. This is the first german BW figure in great quality and I hope to get more from it, please!!!!!!! There are many nice tanks and truck kits for the BW, but no figures. The only thing is that as equipment it would be better to use the G22, instead the G82. The G22 is much more common in all german sniper units. The G82 is rare. Or would it be possible to provide both options? Thanks for such great sculpting. I have already several figures from this company and the quality is awesome!

Something like this? NATO in Miniatures Sniper Team review As for the Barrett (or G82), although the gun looks great and has an amazing cool factor, I would prefer Accuracy International sniper rifle with this figure. G82 is a big and heavy weapon so this kind of a posture is not easy to maintain. Mario EDIT: Tackleberry was a bit faster with his reply. G22 is German designation for Accuracy International AWS.
