After a very long wait, the promised 1/35 modern strap buckles in photo-etch are finally available. The wait has been long in coming but the end result is very satisfying and will add detail and interest to any modern armor kit.
These buckles were first brought to life more than a year ago. After a very long wait for them to go into production, and they finally are. This set includes thirty buckles, ten ratchet strap buckles, ten pinch buckles (commonly found on nylon straps), and ten spring style buckles.

The first picture shows the spring style buckle that is found a lot on vehicles outside of the US.
The second picture shows the buckle that started it all. The ratchet style buckle. This buckle does not actually work but if installed as directed looks as if it does.
The third picture shows the pinch style buckles. These are commonly found on nylon straps and are usually black plastic. The buckles work very well and in the test example did not even need glue to hold tight.

There are also 30 strap end hook sets to hook your straps onto tie down loops or whatever else you are securing them too.

Each set costs $20 which includes shipping and handling charges. CSM Designs is a new company and currently to order this product you will need to E-mail them at [email protected].

Cory, I bet if you brought those to the OHMS club meeting you could probably move quite a few of them.

sfctur1 Send me an email to [email protected]. It is easiest for me to use paypal if that works for you. I just need a shipping address and an email to send the paypal request to and the pieces will be on their way. Thanks for your interest. Cory

I am open to suggestions! I am thinking of trying to do an interior for the Dana turret halves. That is just an idea, though. Please feel free to give me ideas and I will be happy to get going on it. I am looking forward to more opportunities.

I have a suggestion- itīs WW II but would be very helpful to have a set with these leather straps that secure the OVM on tanks like the Sherman, etc.
