Once again, we can bring News of a completely new manufacturer - Meng Models from China. Two-in-one effectively, a New Comapny and, long wished-for, a 1/35th Scale, Styrene Pick-Up in 1/35th scale.
The new model announced by the company is:

VS-001: Pickup with ZPU-1,

This is the single-barreled 14.5mm version of the light AA gun. Seen recently in Libya but can be seen in conflicts all over the World.

Good news for modern fans who will now have a pick-up in styrene and in 1/35th scale!

Our grateful thanks to Meng-Model for the Image!

Excellent choice for a first release! They really do need to fix their website, though.

This would be a great difference maker if you don't like resin an to only build plastic it helps a lot of us. Either don't like or don't have enough experience in resin a chance to do some nice dio' s to include a truck like this. I can't wait to get this kit an start a dio' with this in it. Happy modeling William DeCicco

A much needed item for modern urban dioramas, or any modern scenery. This really has potential. Cheers

LuckyModel have this for $23.99 and $8.08 shipping. $32.07 is not a bad price for this kit. Even though I'm not into the modern stuff this still interests me. Jeff

This is a Toyota Hi-Lux isn't it? If so, we could also see a bunch of Hi-Luxes as beat up by the boys on Top Gear!

I wonder when we'll see them on this side of the Pacific?
