Masterbox Ltd have announced the release of a new set of Afrika Korps panzer crew. The new set includes five crew members plus Rommel.
All six members are depicted gathered on and around what appears to be the turret of a Panzer III somewhere in North Africa. The figures are shown in various uniforms. One is in shorts, short boots and socks, with rolled up sleeves and DAK feldmutze, one in full long pants, jumper and cap (perhaps he feels the cold?), one bareheaded in long sleeved uniform jacket, shorts, boots and knee length lace up leggings, and two others with rolled up sleeves, one with long pants and one with shorts.

Four of the five figures are paying rapt attention to something off in the distance, while the fifth is pointing to the object of interest with his cap. Rommel is shown sitting on what I presume is the commander's cupola, chin in hand, pondering his next move.

All in all, a nice group of figures, perhaps it could be made into a vignette entitled "The Thinkers" ?

Perhaps the nicest thing about this set is that is shows Rommel in a position that is more engaged than usual. Video footage of Rommel shows him seldomly with his hands behind his back. Now we have an injection moulded figure to attest to that.

Found a photo (google search) of Rommel sitting on the cupola of a Panzer 3. The pose is obviously based on that photo. The standing tanker (with rolled up, sleeves) is in the photo too.
