That trailer should've been a separate kit...not going to buy another Bishop...looks good though.

What would be different in such release? Wikipedia claims that M114A1 was simply a new name of M1A1 assigned in 1962, but I know that one shouldn;'t always trust Wikipedia...[/quote] The M1, M1A1, and M1A2 carriages differed in the firing jack and (I think) braking system. They probably just mean a post-war version with NDCC tires and the screw (vs. rack and pinion) firing jack. Unfortunately their drawings show circa 1985 battery computer mounting blocks on their circa 1944 trails. Hopefully that is just on the drawing. KL

Kurt - As I remember you are esentially correct. Not a big change but enough to make them different.. It would be nice to have a correct version for VN era. Rounds Complete!!

Hummm....considering how long we have been waiting for the AFV M42......until I have the kit in my cold hand.....I look at all AFV announcements as another sighting of Elvis! I will keep a watch but right now my money is on Bronco Rounds Complete!!

Jim - Sorry I responded to the Elvis sighting..... you are correct, Bronco is good enough to give us the infor for a certified announcement.... unlike beand A who has gone underground.. Enough of a rant and lets get back to the Bronco announcement. Rounds Complete!!

@ Mike, unfortunately the 'Net is the NEW Village Pump. Rumors, get passed on and become hard facts. Unfortunately, AFV Club seems to be reacting to other company's announcements with an immediate announcement of their version of that subject. With the (extraordinary) quality of a company like AFV Club, it's a little sad as they can capture the headlines all on their own without a need to try and pre-empt. It's frankly beneath them as they were a company who previously kept away from the oneupmanship that others indulged in...

Even though it isn't relevant to an announcement of New Releases by Bronco, the M41 IS absolutely confirmed (I got an e-mail from Terry Ashley of PMMS to that effect) so, yes it is coming. I would ask though, that people DO stick to the subject area within these What's New Threads, there is plenty of space to talk about other company's Release Programs within the Forums. The manufacturers do (with reason) get a little antsy when they send us details of New releases and people chime-in with comments about OTHER manufacturers releases. Don't take it as any kind of censorship, it's more a case of 'Keeping-on-message' the subject of this thread is Bronco, there are plenty more on AFV Club or anyone else...

I heard about the Chaffee project of AFV Club nearly two years ago.It seems to be truth. Great news to me as Bronco kits always losing accuracy.... I want my money could spent on more accurate kits. M42 may coming as it shared a turret similar to M19, which based on M24 and same M1 40mm Bofors AA.
