We've just received an impressive batch of images from Masterbox Ltd covering their latest W.i.P.
The New set (which is under development) is, as usual in 1/35th scale and is titled:

MB 35103 - "Cold Wind"

Now, there have been a fair few Greatcoated German figures released over the years. Rarely though, has anyone attempted something which is usually the domain of the Resin Manufacturers - a series of (broadly-linked) figures advancing (trudging?) through the snow against a bitingly cold wind...

As this is only the W.i.P., this bodes extremely-well for the actual release, Not only of course figures on the Eastern Front. This set, with a minimum of modification and (combined with others) would make an extraordinarily effective series of P.O.Ws being led into captivity.

Of course it's all about imagination and execution - something Masterbox constantly demonstrates...

Our thanks to our colleagues at Masterbox Ltd for the Update!

Nice poses in this set, they look good. Not sure about the chap carrying the ammo box in his hands, rubbing his hands together might be better. They look good though. Al

Good looking set! Two cents on the chap holding the ammo can... Notice there's one on his back... methinks there's a bit of strap making needed so that the boxes are actually slung over his shoulders.

The center guy with the ammo can (not the one pointed out by Alan McNeilly) has his arms resting on the box but with no visible means of suspension - he is not actually carrying the box, neither is it attached to anything. Maybe he also needs a second box slung from the first and over the shoulder with a strap.

Great looking set, very realistic! Kind of reminds me of the movie Stalingrad, towards the end. Looking forward to its release!

All I can say is that it's hard not to have faith in this company. I really like these figures as well and will add them soon pending there release. It's really nice to see figures sets like this that work as well in stand alone projects as they do with larger dioramas.
