Besides static and dynamic posed Vietnam War U.S. figures of different units, BRAVO-6
periodically adds complemantary sets like field gear, ammo boxes and weapons set to its product range.
One of the latest releases B6-35092 M79 Thumper
includes three grenade launchers with various ammo and carrying equipment.
The M79 grenade launcher

First widely used in Vietnam, the M79 turned to be a complete success. Because of its distinctive report, it earned the nicknames of Thumper
among American soldiers. Australian units referred to it as the Wombat Gun
. The M79 can fire a wide variety of 40 mm rounds, including explosive, anti-personnel, smoke, buckshot, flechette, and illumination. Reliable and quite accurate in the hands of a trained operators, it provided extremely mobile firepower to smallest of the infantry units. The key downside to the M79 was that it required the grenadier to carry an additional personal defense weapon, such as pistol or a submachine gun.
The kit comes well packed in standard cardboard box of BRAVO-6. Front side is labeled with an illustration of the launcher and different types of ammo as the back side shows a how-to-assembly guide for PE parts.
