I guess the reviewer meant 'Lebanese' (SLA) not 'Syrian'...In spite of the capture, one of the options (Tiran 4 of the South Lebanese Army, Negev Desert, early 80’s) is actually an IDF vehicle. Interestingly, MiniArt did the exact same mistake. Coincidence...?

This is already the stash now too. Most of my modeling over the years has been Middle East armor (no matter who made it). Gotta love the buying, selling, donating, hand me down, stolen, captured and refurbished vehicles, that can be attributed to all the warring parties, when it comes to re-purposing just about anything that moves. Everybody does it over there, and it give endless possibilities to modeling dozens of types. Companies like MiniArt, Takom, etc., is hitting the mother lode with these Mid East variants.
