introduction
Militär Fahrzeug is the in-house magazine of Tankograd Publishing, covering all manner of articles on modern armour as well as stories from the archives featuring older subjects. It appears several times a year, and nowadays is printed only in German – the English texts at the end of older issues were dropped some time ago.
contents
Between A4-sized thick card covers there are 56 glossy pages of articles, copiously illustrated with colour photos.

Articles in this issue are:

• Boxer for Great Britain (one-page ad)
• Bergpanzer Buffel modernisation (13pp including walkaround detail shots of 3A1 light and heavy versions, and 3A0A1 Spectus)
• Dutch Field Artillery Museum visit (one-page with photos)
• Lancia 1zM armoured cars from WWI to WWII (8pp, including interwar use and a recent museum restoration)
• “Allied Spirit VII” manoeuvres (5pp)
• M1A2 SEP V2 Abrams markings for “Allied Spirit VII” (5pp)
• Donnington Grand Prix Collection (2pp of German WWII staff cars and halftracks from the Wheatcroft collection on show at Donnington, UK)
• Schützenpanzer Marder with MELLS anti-tank missile system (one page)
• Canadian Ferrets in Germany 1954-1968 (5pp)
• M60A3 TTS and Leopard 2A6 in Portugal (5pp)
• Brobandwagen 941 – Swedish bridgelayer (4pp)
• REME Museum visit (one page)
• Gründerjahre der Bundeswehr (“rapid expansion of the Bundeswehr”, 2pp)
• Boxer for Australia (one-page ad)

As always, the photos are high-quality and interesting if the subjects appeal.
conclusion
Another fine issue of the magazine, crammed with great photos! Pity about the German-only text – I’ll need to become friends with my German-English dictionary…

About Tom Cromwell (barkingdigger)
FROM: ENGLAND - EAST ANGLIA, UNITED KINGDOM

A Yank living overseas on a long-term basis, I've been building tanks since the early '70s. I relish the challenges of older kits (remember when Tamiya was "new"?...) because I love to scratch-build.
