In-Box Review
Cross-Type Screw Heads

by: Vinnie Branigan [ TEACHER ]

Cross Type Screw Heads
Another small but extremely useful set from Aber in the form of multiple photo etched screw heads, ranging in size from just under 3mm to about 1 mm, there are 10 different sizes, with the smallest being the most numerous. I have used these before, and they couldn't be simpler to apply, just a turn of the correctly-sized twist drill, place the screw head in place with the tip of a moistened cocktail stick and then just touch some liquid styrene cement to the top which usually holds it in place. Easy!

These type of screw heads are ubiquitous on armour from WWII right to the present day, and are often poorly represented, especially on older kits, but sometimes on newer ones too.

conclusion
One of those 'consumables' every modeller should have at his disposal. Recommended.
SUMMARY
A useful set., that everybody should have a few of in their kit.

I'll have to pick a set of these up. Do they also make a set of slotted screws Vinnie?
