Another in our quick looks at what Eduard have offered recently, this time up it's Allied in the form of a set for the M18 Super Hellcat from Academy, kit number 35002.
This set arrives as two frets of PE and instructions running to six sides. There is also a small paper insert provided that includes the dash.
Six sides of instructions must mean a fairly extensive set of upgrades then, so what do we actually get? Well first up we are supplied with quite a lot of upgrades for the inside of the vehicle as supplied by Academy. So we get a completely new, quite complicated assembly to place the driver's seat on. we also get new pedals, various enhancements for the floor panels, many small fittings for the transmission case, and a new PE dashboard for which there is also a paper insert provided. How much of this is actually visible when the vehicle is completed I'll leave to others, but as you can see from the instructions, there are a lot of small parts provided!
For the outside of the vehicle we're given small PE chains for the fuel caps, flat of course, and also new grills for the engine intakes. There are a set of new PE straps for all the on-vehicle tools as well as many other small brackets, fixtures and fittings for the outside.
Moving on to the turret, we are offered the majority of the set to install, and if all used it can't fail to catch the eye and make your model stand head and shoulders against one without this set, all other things such as finish of course, being equal! New floor panels to the basket, Lot's of small fixtures I wouldn't be able to identify, fire extinguisher bracket, straps, buckles, handles, as much on the inside of the turret as on the outside, and much of which will be plainly visible on the finished model.
Eduard have provided this two-fret set of PE for the Academy M18 Super Hellcat, kit number 35002. Mostly consisting of small detailed parts, if you're about to build the Academy kit, you'll love using this one!
