Introduction

ET model is a Chinese company pretty recent in the PE market and kit upgrades.
They've just released generic kits depicting modern ammo boxes used by all US military branches. This is a great addition for those who are looking to add such open boxes to their vehicles and dioramas.

ET Model Ammo boxes set

EA35-034 Cal.30 M19A1
The .30 caliber M19A1 replaced the steel case .30 M1/M1A1 ammo box after WWII, it was originally design to carry belts of 250 .30-06 ammo and was later used for the NATO 7.62mm rounds for the M60 machine gun. Nowadays, this ammo box is used for various calibers in cartons, clips, bandoleers and other packaging.
The set comprises of 4 boxes and the build is really straightforward and not complicated. Some special care is needed while working on the hinge as usual. The details are present but there is some difference in dimension, the box is smaller of about 0.078 mm in depth, beside that the overall dimension is correct.

EA35-035 Cal .50 M2A1
The M2A1 ammo can was designed to hold link belts of 100 cartridges of .50 cal. ammunition for the M2 Browning machine gun. This ammo can be used to store and carry a wide variety of ammo from .50 cal, to 12 gauge shotgun shells. Regarding the dimension, it is missing 0.078 mm in the length and 0.054 mm in height. The comprise 4 ammo boxes. No issues in the build, special care for the hinges is needed.

EA 35-036 PA-108 Fat 50 ammo can
The PA-108 ammunition box is similar to the M2A1 .50 cal. ammo box, but is a little larger, about one inch, in each of its dimensions. Although other uses have been authorized, the primary use of the PA-108 is to store and carry 5.56mm ammunition. Due to its size relationship to the M2A1 .50 cal. ammo can, the PA-108 Ammunition is often called the 'Fat-Fifty.' On the other hand, when used to carry four 200-round magazines of linked 5.56mm ammo for the M-249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), the PA-108 is called the 'SAW-Box.' Due to small different with EA35-035, the dimension is similar.

EA35-037 M548 40 mm ammo can
The M548 ammunition box is typically used to store and move 20mm or 40mm cartridges, as well as other types of small arms ammunition (eg. 7.62mm boxed), and artillery fuses. When the 40mm cartridges are linked into belts with M16A2 links for the Mk19 grenade machine gun, the M548 ammo can hold 48 rounds, called the 'USMC Pack,' or 62 rounds bulk packed. As mentioned above, the set can be used to produce four ammo boxes.

Conclusion

If you are going to use these boxes closed, use resins counterparts. There are numerous small pieces that required special care and you clearly need a good magnification to work on them.
SUMMARY
Highs: nice details and good overall dimension.
Lows: very small details, building can be really tricky and it was difficult for me.
Verdict: Recommended if you are going to use them open.
