RailRoad Modeling

The review piece sports "Sud Trans" livery, I don't know what this company does but it makes for an attractive graphics package. Which is in itself a very strong point for the model. Extremely fine writing and markings are emblazoned over the truck and trailer, careful examination reveals no flaws whatsoever.

Moulding is superb as well, although use of coloured plastic in places like the underside of the trailer is questionable (would it really be scarlet?). Fine touches like a spare wheel in its stowage rack are very impressive. As is full colour side mirrors (on a seperate sprue) and grip plate over the fuel tanks.

The cab pivots forward to reveal the engine, which by al accounts appears to be an inline four cylinder. I am not an expert on this subject but I believe that rendering may be incorrect.

The model is exceptionally detailed for what it is, and although exceedingly delicate would make for very nice piece for 1:87 dioramas and displays.
SUMMARY
Highs: Graphics and Markings, Nice detail touches.
Lows: Bright red trailer frame and wheel hubs.
Verdict: Without any fundamental flaws. Very impressive rendering in this scale.
