As with any contest, we allow the individual to enter the category they feel most at home in, just like any "open" contest format. Perhaps what misleads people is that the two categories are Advanced and Beginner/Intermediate...with the "intermediate" being a somewhat gray area in the middle but tied to the Beginner end of the spectrum. So far, the categories have more or less served their intended purpose but it may be worth looking at moving the Intermediate to being tied to the "Advanced" instead of to the "Beginner" end of the spectrum. For now, things remain as they are but the contest is a continually evolving process.

I'm not sure about others, but I have a suggestion for the voting process. I find it very distracting to have the number of views listed on the voting page...I was drawn to looking at the models with higher view counts before the other. It could add an un-intended bias to the voting. IMHO.

Voting has officially closed, the results and winners will be announced shortly! Thanks to all who entered and took the time to vote.
Jason,
We try to make it as fair as possible with the viewing order being randomly presented but can't do much about the View count given the limitations of the viewing software. Appreciate the feedback though.
