I've got a few WWI pieces started and I would like to add a bergman SMG to two of them (both involve stosstruppen). Does anyone make any Bergman SMG (MP 28's will do) in 1/35th? I know that there is one in one of the DML Gen 2 kits, but I need two for the pieces I have planned. Does anyone else make any?

there are two of these guns in the old dml german infantry weapons part 2 , dont know if this set is still available, bet you can find one on e-bay. it should be noted however they have the straight magazine and not the snail drum mag. as used in ww1. scale link does have the ww1 version but they are 54mm but still might work depending on how your 1/35 figs, scale out. take a look at scale-link.co.uk for all things [ meaning figs, and equipment] ww1.

Thanks I thought about the Scale Link kit, I guess I will have to wait until the figures arrive to see how they scale out.

I picked up the old Tamiya weapons set ( I think that mght have been the one you referenced) at the LHS today. It certainly isn't the quality of resin or even Dragon Gen 2, but for $5 it will do in a pinch. Now I just have to macguvyer the magazine.

I made a snail mag. for the Tamyia Bergman SMG with super sculpey. I added the drum to the existing straight mag. I was just looking for it but it is somewhere in the model cave. It came out pretty good from what I remember. Good luck.

Thanks; I was thinking of marrying the stick mag with the mg 34 drum mag and adding/deleting appropriate details.
