Here''s a review of 1/20 scale resin figure from Orange 3D Miniatures with a very interesting post-apocalyptic concept: Magenta.

Guess I missed it the first time around. Have there been any follow-up releases since then, or is this just a one-shot idea?

As far as I know this is their only SF figure... shame really as the concept was very imaginative and authors did want to expand the story behind Magenta. I guess it never happened.

Three or more years is a long time to wait with no results.

I didn't know the authors wanted to expand the line. Some more figures along the "Magenta" subject matter would be interesting to see.

oh man! I'm also 3 years late on this. Thanks for the review Mario! So sorry for the lack of follow up on this figure. Got busy with having a baby, day job and 1/72 scale military modelling. Plus Ray is busy with other illustration and comics stuff.
Here's a link to Ray's "kickstarter" comic book project.

I had some idea for a mech for her: http://orange3dplastic.blogspot.sg/2008/12/trex-mech-w-i-p_03.html

and a companion figure. But yes, I've been neglecting her for quite a while now.

Good question, I've seen somewhere that 90mm is 1/18, but that would make a figure that's 90mm tall equivalent to 1.62 m tall in 1/1 scale or about 5 foot 3 inches; which I think is a bit short.

Magenta is meant to be a short asian girl in 1/20 scale. The actual figure height is around 73mm, making her 4 feet 9.5 inches in 1/20 scale. A little too short for my liking to be honest.

Here's a height comparison photo with a Ma.K mechanic.

The whole concept is very interesting and Magenta is one of the nicest futuristic figures I have. I know how it is when real life comes in the way of modeling, but if you ever decide to do some companion figures please let us know...

My wife, a Cambodian, is around 4' - 10", "And that's the way I like it, uh-huh...uh-huh!"

BTW, is this fig still available?

Magenta looks like a really unique and original piece that has a nice futuristic appearance. The body armor and high-tech accessories add to the allure of this figure. I hope to see more offerings from Orange3D.
