Excellent review Sven- thorough, detailed and informative. Great stuff.

On a side note: I recently completed Zvezda's BTR-80A kit and the decals appeared slightly yellowed but when I removed them from the film and had them on the vehicle they looked fine. My advice would be, when you get to the decal stage, to dip them in water and remove them from the backing card and examine them under a good light- they might just be useable!

Cheers.

I can say: "when the review is better than the kit"

Joking aside, congrats and many thanks for the exhaustive review Sven.

I've decided not to buy this kit. To be honest a while time ago it was on sale at my hobby shop and I was thinking to keep it. Why? I like a lot the drawings printed on Zvezda boxes, they could convince you that the kit may be as good as the illustration

However, as you have written, there are too many mistakes in shape and details.
I'd rather prefer to wait for a new tool

Cheers and thanks again

Hey Mauro.
Thanks for the nice word, but i still have to improve in a lot of aspects.
I knew this is not a accurate model when bought it,but it will be good for a practice.

Sincerely,Sven

Humbleness is a great quality in that hobby (...and not also), but I saw your model pictures and in my humble opinion you're very skilled...You CAN'T hide it

So, carry on this way Sven!

Duly noted, my Friend.

You write as well or better than some adult reviewers I've worked with. And English isn't even your Mother Tongue. While you're too young to drink in the US, here are two glasses of non-alcoholic beer raised to toast you.
