Hello everyone! Now 'm building British cruiser tank A27L Cromwell Mk.IV. i've decided to my work to you. The Cromwell is from Tamiya. It's a very nice kit, but i want to make it in detail. I was planning to use Hobbyboss tracks, PE from Aber (35060,35A061) and from Voyager (PE 35094), gun and machineguns from RB,antennas from Armorscale.

So I've decided to start with turret.
In the beginning i have added missed weld on pistol ports and commanders hatch. then I drilled holes on a pistol ports.
On photos u have marked all interesting moments to my mind.
Screw heads and weld.

Weld,right antenna mount and the form of the "pillows'" and how they are fixing on the hatches.

Weld, basement for AA machine gun and left antenna mount.


That's what I have for today.





The hatch doors will be workable.





I will gratefully will listen all advises and suggestions!

I have some new photos. I've worked with commander's hatch more carefully and added some new little details (periscopes,periscopes armor) . You can see it on the photos.

I have worked with gun mantlet. The besa machine gun was added.

Some days ago I started to work with front of the hull. Here is my progress. Nearly only half of what I am planning to do.




Now I am waiting for Masterclub nuts and rivets,screws from Aber,Fruilmodel tracks and some additional photos from tank museum.

Hello! I have some new photos of my building.
that is very sad but RB model gun barrel (it's muzzle brake) is incorrect. It's too long,counterweight is too big. So I have made some modifications.


Than I finished a machinegun.

Friulmodel tracks were modified with Masterclub flat rivets. Technologically one side of the track always hollow.

Frank thank you very much! There is still much work to do with hull, turret is almost ready.
I have used Masterclub flat rivets 0,7mm, (MC435024)

Cromwell has one peculiar feature - great amount of screws on the hull Unfortunately Masterclub does not produce screws. So screws are from Aber.
It was rather hard to put them on to armor,but i did it.
