Hmmmmm....I'll take that as a compliment....

Hey ya fellas .. Just had an idea and i am throwing out to you guys so you can tell me what you think .
Here's the idea .. back ground story on your build ..we did it in What If 2 ,,all ya gotta do is write up a little back ground story about your vehicle ,,but not from you ..from the make believe dudes who built it .
The ones we did in What if 2 was pretty fun to read and i enjoyed writing mine and other people who aint in this campaign still might enjoy reading them .
So tell me what ya think ..oh if you want to write one you can and if you dont ,,then ya don't have too ..hows that ?

Phill, you have no end of good ideas. Writing from the first person should help with the creativity, thinking of the build from a different perspective. I can see myself focussing on realistic controls, seats, maintenance, etc.

Well I enlisted in this one as well. Lucky number 13.....not too sure how to feel about that!!

Here is what I plan on copying for my entry.

Or this one.

Or maybe both...who knows. I love post-apocalyptic themes and I hope that there will be more to follow.

Thanks,
Randy

I'm good with the back story. It'll give some method to the madness. I think mine will need some explaining either way.

I'm game for a back-story. It worked well and showed some hidden littery talent (not much, but some) in the last campaign....

Glad you guys like the back story so much
Now the story can be as small or as big as you want .. the bigger the better tho ..always love a good read

Zon mate your right about scratching the noggin,,i have my base idea and a couple of other things too to throw at it ,,but its the finer details which im racking my brain over ,,i'll get there ,,might have to look at getting some ammo cans

Hold on. I just realized we're in the End Of Days 2 forum, not What If 3. Do I need to apply all my literary prowess for BOTH campaigns? Did EOD 1 have such a requirement?
Anyway, sure, I'm still in. Just getting it straight. I like reading all of our nonsense too.
Cheers!

Anyone have a link to the first End of Days Campaign? I want to drop by and take a look at some "ideas", not so much to copy but to help unleash my imagination a bit. (you know)

Thanks!

If you want to step waaaaay back, and have some spare time, you should have a read through the original discussion thread HERE , but be prepared because once you start reading you won't stop, it's 22 pages of great fun !

There I was seeking inspiration and I found this trailer

http://www.sfx.co.uk/2012/08/03/cockneys-vs-zombies-trailer/

Checkout the London Bus at the end maybe I ought to do that??? LOL

But on a more serious note having seen the Winnabago fron The walking dead I thought maybe I'd do the London Taxi from 28 days later, 1/24th taxi by revell and a shed load of stowage?? Or maybe I've got something else up my sleeve ( did think of using a combine harvester, but I think it would not be so good for urban Zombie removal.)

Haha... awesome flashback. I totally forgot how my zombie slaying scout car got started. I'm thinking for this one it's going to be more based on AMC's The Walking Dead. That means no big guns, but small accurate ones with SILENCERS. Also a raised platform. Think of those Land Rover safari expedition vehicles. I already have my license plate made up...
