I just enlisted!

Echoing Bob, It's a toss up between a Tristar III H or a Dragon 6262 Marder II. However, if Bronco pops out that Marder II D in time, I might not be able to resist.

Jeff - Looking forward to your full metal Marder! I actually picked up that PE set during Great Models going out of business sale. She will be sitting on the shelf until I get my black belt in PE.

Nice Nathan!

Yeah... I just moved up into the world of PE by getting a 4 speed station. Somehow I feel I will need more to do this Campaign.

Hi Jeff,

I have an old Tamiya Marder II, which I built back in my teenage years in '94 (!) Needless to say its quite a mess... Now in the midst of dismantling and stripping off the paint for a long-awaited rebuilt. Will this be acceptable as an entry for this campaign? will post a pic of e dismantled parts

Either way the marder was one of the first vehicles i built... dun mind getting a new kit just to take part

Hey Lawrence!

Thanks for taking interest in this Campaign! I really hate to scare someone away but according to the Campaign Tutorial http://armorama.com/forums/160011&page=1 it says "A campaign is about building so completed kits are usually not allowed. Sometimes a completed kit is allowed if it will be torn up to be used as a base for a conversion. We are talking about major modifications so just adding a new machine gun won't do. Normally, you should not start before the campaign's start date."

Since the Marder is already a converted vehicle, simply dissasembling one won't work as a new un-started kit is needed.

I will join up for this build, not too sure if I will be able to finish it. Too many other great campaigns coming on line. I do have an allan kit, tamyia, and an old Italaerei kit. As for the Martin they used to make coats out of them. Not to sure if they still do.

I`m up for this, I have a few Marder`s in the stash, so it will either be a Tamiya Marder 11, Wespe or an RPM Marder 1 or the Trumpy 39(H)

Don`t know which one yet, but I`m looking forward to this one.

Love my WWII tracked vehicles, and just picked up a 1:35 Dragon Panzerjäger für Pak40/2 "Marder II", yesterday, so count me in. I will just sit it to the side, while I complete my SU-85M for the Tank Destroyer campaign

Hi Jeff,
I´ve just finished a scratch project and I´m thinking about the next one.
Well here´s my question:
Would you accept a protoype that may well have been called a Marder if it had gone into production?
Here´s a couple of pictures of what I mean:

The description is a Borgward with 5cm AT gun.
What do you say
I know there has been a couple of comments on what is allowed and what not on this thread already, so I will understand if your answer is a negative.

I'll accept prototypes as long as they are WWII vehicles.

This also should be called "If it looks like a MARDER, smells like a MARDER, and goes together like a MARDER and is from WWII"... it's in!

Paul - That looks like an awesome project!

Jeff - Here is another funny one that looks like a Marder III M mounted on the back of a french half-track: The Selbstfahrlafette fur 7.5cm PaK40 auf Somua MCG S307(f)

I would love to see this baby in styrene!

I am leaning towards the "Kohlenklau" (Coal thief) Marder II using Dragon #6262

Yeah... but it looks more like a Half-track than a MARDER.

But still cool looking!

It's getting closer to the first of the year so get ready!

I'm in!

I have the 1:35 Dragon Panzerjäger für Pak40/2 "Marder II" as well. I'm leaning towards that more than the Iteleri H or the Tamiya M versions in my stash because I'm currently using it in World of Tanks online! It does have quite a punch!

Hey Gary!

Yeah, I've stumbled a bit but next year brings us new hope & new kits and I'm gonna do my best to see it through too!

I still have my mind set on an all PE Marder, so hopefully that pans out. I do have a Tamiya Marder II kit to fall back on.

But, this new Marder from Bronco IS sweet. And very tempting too.

Hello Gentlemen,

Well....i have a bit of a conundrum. Ive had the Befehlsjager 38 M. on the side ready to go, but now that santa has come and gone, he left me a Marder III H.

Which should i build? I love both kits but now that i have a new shiney box im leaning towards it now. Hmmmmm.....what you guys think?

I have an old Tam kit on deck so I will jump on board. Been building scale projects for the local historical fund lately and have not been able to delve into this community as of yet, hoping to change that soon. This is my first build on this site so if I am doing anything contrary to popular guidelines let me know.

And Gary my friend, there's only one solution buddy.

As fast as you build, just do 'em BOTH!

Yeah, I agree.

The Befehlsjager 38 M would be a much better project... this time.
