Very nice work Jose !!

I'm glad you could finish it !

I created the Campaign but got no time to start this one and finish it on time, like the ColdWar MBT Campaign ...

Excepting Paul & Sal nobody can finish all the Campaigns..

Lots of good builds going on here!

I have had to withdraw from this campaign too many other commitments.

Cheers Rob.

I started work on my build a couple weeks ago, but due to the stupid proprietary usb cable on my camera always getting lost, I couldn't get pics onto my computer till last night.

Anyway, I am doing a 'desertized' Challenger 2 (Tamiya 1/35th):

and here is the current state of the build - chassis and turret basic construction done:

My first mod - the turret fit to the hull was sloppy. some shims made of 0.5mm plastic strip tightened it up:

so there is a part "F1" that is the gun mantlet cover - there is no "F" sprue in my kit and i am at a loss at to where this part is and coming to the conclusion it isn't in my kit. does anyone know if this is from a supplemental photo etch set that tamiya sells separately or something?

Here are my finished photos for the protection Campaign.
Dragon Pz IV Ausf H with zimmerit and schuzen.

There are a lot of very interesting models in this campaign, especially the modern vehicles.

I had a great time with this one.

with 1.5 days left in the campaign, here is my 2nd and perhaps final in progress post.

I decided to close the open sponsons, which was easy enough using some 1" strips of .02" plastic sheet.

shortly after that was done, I was able to call the chassis done and start painting it so I could close up the tracks and start final construction of the upper deck with side side armor in place:

The turret is coming along - used plastic sheet for the fron ID panels and decided to add some brackets (those still in progress). Need some more detail painting before decalling, and I managed to break off the wind sensor =/

got the upper chassis painted a couple days ago and I got the sludge wash on and mostly removed as of last night:

I might actually be able to get this beast done before tomorrow night.

Thanks for ribbon John, cool campaign and one that gave me a few grey hairs with that disastrous first kit of mine.
I'll be for No. 2 if you do one
