We take a look at three new small scale (1:72) kits from MPK Modellbau in Switzerland. A Marder II and two D7 Zugkraftwagen 1t half-tracks.

Thanks for the video, Jim.

Thought I'd help to clarify a few things here. I know both th eowners of MK72/MPK and Blue-Cat. They asked me to answer any questions on the forums since their English is somewhat limited. They do know each other (and Maco) but they're not more than friends (no business relation other than some resource sharing maybe).

MPK actually started out as a resin company and still has some nice resin products and will continue releaing more in the future (all 1/72 scale). MK72 is actually the plastic offspring.

Blue-Cat came from the initial idea that the Demags of MK72 should be 1/48 not 1/72 and MPK offered the research and some help to get Blue-Cat's first release.

However, in the future both companies will have their own lines and though I'm not at liberty to tell any details, there are some interesting things from both companies planned.

Cheers!
Stefan
