Cyber-Hobby have released another Value-Pack featuring the unstoppable V2 rocket with a communications center crew in 1/35. These value packs are a good deal with popular models combined together.

Glad DML decided to re-release this set. I think it's worth buying for the figures alone. Who doesn't want a scene with a solider using a bicycle to power radio equipment on their desk?

I have these kits in their orinal form, they are quite nice. The communications set is great, they supply an enigma machine too I believe. Unless they have changed the sprues you also get the extra limbs etc from the "Signal Troops" kit.

I tried building the original issue of this kit a couple of years ago. It's beautiful on the sprues. Once I started assembling it, however, I found that when you joined the halves of the missile together it created a depression along the seam where the halves were glued. It was nearly impossible to clean up the joint without destroying that nice rivet detail. Consequently, I shelved the model. I went back to it several times thinking my modeling skills had improved enough to tackle the problem and each times ended up shelving it again. I finally put it out with the trash about 6 months ago and built the 1/48 scale version by Pegasus. Not as detailed a kit as Dragon's but it makes a nice representation of the V2.

Just my two cents worth.

Happy Holidays to all!
