Sascha, you're thinking of the Sherman Calliope. As far as I know there were no 'Hobart's Funnies' like that, then again there were a lot of odd prototypes. I'm confident that none were fielded in the ETO. It's possible post-war Churchills used by other countries had a similar set-up but I wouldn't know for sure.

I don't have any other 'oddball' Churchill photos besides one of a destroyed Churchill in Bagdad, 2003. Nothing notable about the photo other than it's in Iraq, of all places. I'd suggest looking through Wiki. Even if you don't find a Calliope type Churchill you'll still find plenty of good stuff.

Man... decisions, decisions!

I need to stop watching and looking over references. I saw quite a few Mark I's and III's IN the desert campaign and it's weighting on my choice.

But this is still impresive:

Oh well... there's still time!

Hello Sascha, I have two sets of AFV Clubs glueable one piece soft plastic tracks. The material is very similar to
Dragons DS stuff. I´ve done a quick comparison to the Tam. kit and they should fit. If you wish to have them PM your address.

Ok count me in with this old guy...

You Churchill guys are cool!

Was searching thru the stash for something suitable to use in the 2nd D-Day Camp. 70th Ann. and this popped out of the pile. Hope it's acceptable.
Oh, and I've never built a Churchill either.

Now the wait...

I watched a D-Day special last night and even though it's really scary how they loaded the Petard Churchill, I cannot get over how B.A. it really looks.

So, I'm in with a Petard. Or the Howitzer. No... the Petard for sure now.
