I'm seriously confused by this. The box illustration shows some men with WW2 style leggings as well as WW2 color uniforms yet some of the reviews that I have read and the Dragon website state that these can be used for Vietnam. Now I'm far from a uniform/equipment specialist but I know that there are few similarities between the WW2 uniform and that of the Vietnam era. Now I would like to use at least a few of the figures for a WW2 dio. Are they suitable for that or are they actually Vietnam era figures?

They are actually World War Two figures. Some of the figures with a change of boots and some putty work can be used for Vietnam, but the kit is primarily for World War Two.

Since you are wanting to use them for a World War Two diorama, you should be good to go.
