I actually have a pair of these as well which UMM gave to me in Orlando. I have used them and they do work very well.

I purchased a very similar item from Micro-Mark a while ago, and have used nothing else since. It's a great little tool.

I too bought something similar from Micro Mark and it sure it's useful to cut those really small and fragile parts from the sprues.

I have one o these little cutters, and I would have to say it works very well...for small parts ONLY...!

The micro mark is the same thing but more expensive, believe it or not. UMM also makes a killer micro razor saw that should not be missed if you do any scratch building or conversions.
