I would love to see someone build the LARC in 1/35th. However until we come across a BIG cast metal road grader or something with the right tires I don't think it's going to happen. Here's wishing though!

Look at that poor, lowly, teeny, tiny DUKW next to the LARC!!!!

There are some interesting ideas being thrown around, here. Trying to figure out how to get the M-ATV up to the status quo. I guess it's time to go photo hunting.

Check the size of that thing, each wheel is about 6 ft high. Awesome.

Wondering if this might qualify? Not strictly a truck but it does have 3 axles

If not, I will probably use my DML Scud with MAZ carrier.

Here's my vote for a "BIG Truck" entry: (AA-60 Russian airport fire truck conversion starting with the MAZ-537 Scud Missile Transporter kit.)

I REALLY like the work on that "Fireball" quad .50 gun truck! Also like the idea of dropping the back cloth on the soft top, perfectly ligit!

Cool

Thank you for your positive comments. Dropping the back cloth came from my -at the time- only reference photo.

Isn't this the same one we discussed that was already started?

And it's called "Extreme Trucks Campaign".

The Tyrell race car

has 3 axles (6 tires/wheels) but is not a truck. I would have to say no as it's just a heavy duty car.

Holy sh*t - WOW great job! Love it.

So what DID you use for the wheels/tires?
Or did you master them yourself?

It's not my work. I saw this model on a show some years ago. And it will be difficult to get more informations about this thing cause the guy who did it passed away earlier this year. Most what of his models were scratch build as well as the tires.

You guys gonna talk all day or you gonna fish? - Old joke.

Production photos please!

The lead up to the above punch line is that the local game warden catches Eddie fishing off the dock with dynamite. The warden starts to give the guy a piece of his mind for fishing illegally. At which point Eddie lights a stick of dynamite, hands it to the warden and says . . . .

No Matt, I don't
Can you help me out ? Am I getting into a mine field of plastic?
Is it a standard Italeri kit ( details & fitting ) ?

It is a re-box of the old Italeri Hemmt. The detail is very soft. It contains only one new sprue, for the armament.
