It looks like a good basic Tiger. Zvezda appears to value customer support - nice to hear!

Darren, thanks for your help again.

Fred-yes, it is a nice kit, and a good effort on their part. They just need to get that molding issue worked out. Their customer service was very helpful. I actually just received a second replacement (I must have duplicated my request) for the upper and lower hull sections. It took a while but they answered.

I believe the newer boxings all have the link and length tracks sets and figure set combined, and so should not have the warping issues I experienced with the hull top.

I bought this kit too.

I realy like it. Zvezda has improved their moulding technics. I got the Problem with the upper hull as well; no Problem with some heating.

Just for info. Eduard is offering two pe sets for the Zvezda tiger. I am with you and do always us a Minimum of pe-parts.

The Barrel itself is ok but I us the Aber one original for the Tamiya one.

Tracks I go with the friul ones.

For the aniversery of battle of kursk the russian companies Evolution Miniatures is doing a 5 Crew set for the Tiger and Stalingrad croweds your Tiger up with 10 figures and Decalssheet.
I like both sets, just wondering why they do not the some for soviet Counterpart.
