Darren Baker takes a look at the Zil-131 recently released by Revell of Germany in 1/35th scale. If you are interested in Russian and Soviet recent vehicles this is worthy of taking a closer look at.

According to Military Modelling magazine the kit has accuracy issues in that some of the parts are under or over-sized, is this true?

I did not measure the parts, because I know that some require spot on size accuracy but most are happy with reasonable accuracy. In this case it quacks like a duck, looks like a duck and walks like a duck and so chances are its a duck, in other words close enough as to make very little difference to most. The various elemsnts that make up the model look correct and visually match reference. I suspect that if you picked up any model it would not match all measurement data and so close will keep most people happy.
