Your painting & weathering looks awesome!! The feature I really like is the way you left the external fuel tanks off, but still have the mounting straps attached. Really has a late war look & feel to it. Great job!!

Hi, i love the work you did on this kit! I just got academy's t-34 and was wondering how you reduced the overdone cast finish of the turret.

Thanks to nice comment. Concerning over done mould reducing, I used simple but little bit laborious method. I mixed Tamiya basic putty with GSI lacquer thinner. Then the putty will be gelled. We can control of the viscosity of gelled putty using lacquer thinner volume. Then apply the gelled putty to overdone area using a brush. After gelled putty is dried, we can easily remove the overdone mould applying sand paper. Of course the reverse step will be possible too. We can also add roughness mould to turret using putty and brush end. This would be nothing but an example of correcting method. Then you could finish it applying more smart and efficient method than mine. Thank you for reading.

In addition, I used router to remove the original weld line and so on

Thanks for replying! I'll try the putty and laquer thinner trick.
