AFV Club has a set of workable T85E1 tracks for the M24 and Kevin Brant has a look at them.

The assembly of these is simple compared to the Modelkasten T54E1 set. Assembly of the AFV Club set goes relatively quick.

Would they fit on the Italeri kit?

Not sure, would depend on the drive sprocket. It may just take some sanding of the teeth on the Italeri sprocket to get them to fit.
