Eirik Sandaas reviews and builds the Tamiya 1/48th scale Horch Type 1a, and this despite issues with pass times in the snow.

Good looking model overall. The figures look good on the sprues, but hey appear to have significant (for 1/48) seam lines along the shoulders and sides of the head.

Not sure how well it shows in the pictures, but it was mostly on the Z-sprue, i.e. the back-seat passengers. The two in the front, who was on the same A-sprue as parts of the vehicle did not have the same issue.

I didn't mention it in the text, but the waist joint is also a bit different, with a butt-joint for the four in the back, while driver/front-passenger has a raised area, two help alignment.

It makes me think the four in the rear are a downscaled version of an older design.
