That is really nice work Colin and I like the simple scene you have depicted.

Really nice job Colin,
Great work on the horses and figures. Not to worry about your figure skills, after years I wish mine were that good.
Not sure about the grass on the cobblestone,Seems too large.
Maybe small tufts coming through the cracks?

The grass could use a bit more of a random sized look as well; they all look like clones as is. Maybe pick at a few to reduce number of stalks, cut some lower, eyc, just to vary them a bit more.

Figures do look good but I can't tell if they have eyebrows.

Colin,
What a cool little dio! Horses and troops both look great! Impressed with the harness work! I fear something like this would be too daunting for my fumble-fingers.

Thanks guys, yeah, the grass definitely needs work, I like the idea about small tufts coming through the cracks! I did not put any eyebrows on, any time I tried it made them look like clowns with unibrows . The harness really tested my patience, many nasty words were used along with several glasses of wine!

Colin, I think you need not apologize for your figure and horse painting. Wonderful work. Looks like the horses from Shep Paine's Historex ads. You put the whole diorama together with fine harmony and authentic colors. Salute!

I am really impressed with the kit and the way the vehicle, horses and figs look. Riich always does a great job. I think you really did this great kit justice with your painting and overall presentation!

What can I say but....WOW. Excellent job Colin. I am happy that you ended up with this kit. I couldn't have come close to your finished product.

Thank you for taking on the review and build for me. The kit definitely went to the right guy.

Thanks,
Randy

Thanks all, Randy, thanks for passing this and the Big Bertha on to me to review, both are models I probably would not have done on my own volition. They pushed me into some new areas, especially the If.5.
