I am in with two Dust Tactics walkers. They are from the Dust Tactics game based on alternative history of WWII. It is 1947 and WWII is still raging.

I have had these setting on a shelf for more than a year and it is now time to get them finished. The models actually come preassembled so first task is to take them ApS art and clean up the parts.

Next is basic painting and then details.

More progress. The two base colors of steel and grey are on. A couple of hours spend in front of the television with masking tape and the pattern of the splinter camo is on. Next a white spray to complete the base camouflage.

Tonight I got around to paint the white camouflage. Straight after having painted it I scratched it to simulate battle wear from Zvergorad

Another dark horse makes a strong finish..MaK 1/20 Gans 'Battlefrog'
But I burned out a fluorescent bulb and started knocking wiring off, so the universe was telling me to finish tomorrow. Tonights pictures are terrible, better ones tomorrow.

It's due on the AMPS nationals tables Friday afternoon, so tick tock..

Another long term shelf life project (+-16yrs??) bought as a 'new' release and brought back to life after seeing Georg Eyerman's Krote Duck.
Painted in an attempt to get the Leopard frog 'look'..

I've uploaded an image of Steve Kiernan's Tamiya M4A1 in the gallery as he was having problems getting it there.

I've been out of the loop since Feb due to my computer packing up and while I was offline finished my Opel Blitz. Not really that pleased with it but at least it's finished now. I've got the Miniart Germans unloading fuel drums set so this is to go with those in a dio setting. I'll have a look to see what else I've got knocking about that's started but unfinished. Off the top of my head there's an LRDG Chevvy, an airborne 6lber and a Miniart Ardennes building which was put away before I ended up flinging it across the room. I've got a couple of other bits I want to build in between but there's plenty of time for another build . I've added a couple of finshed pics to the gallery.

Finally decided on what to do for this campaign.
These fellows have been sitting in boxes or on shelves for years waiting for me to get back to them.
All three are Tamiya kits

I will consider this campaign complete if I complete at least both of the Jeeps, or the Chevrolet. Ideally I want to complete all three, as I have some figures and a diorama idea waiting for these guys.

I know it is only one campaign ribbon per person that completes the models but I'd like to add another vehicle as well. I am pretty much done with this Korean K1A1 minus camo, weathering, etc.

No problem. I have several kits that I hope to get done this time. First is my Merkava but a Tamiya Kettenkrad may slip in there.

I'm working on my third.

Gary, you can get in on this too. Let's see who knocks off the most shelf queens,
Mike

Ha! If I get one done, it would be a miracle!
