Hi Everyone
There was an idea to build several covered cars, taking as a basis 01518 German Railway Gondola Lower sides.

Thanks for your kind words,Bogi!

It is quite possible those Serbian friends of yours are still coming-in 3 weeks time there will be another modelling contest(this time in Sofia), organized by Scale Models Club Bulgaria.
I've seen models and modellers from Serbia, Greece and Northern Macedonia taking part in previous years and I'm sure there will be foreign participation also this year.

Thanks Peter!
Glad to have modelling buddies to share glory with, like you!

Nice. My friends from Serbia used to go to competitions in Bulgaria too. Don't know if they still do... I am happy for you Angel, you put a lot of effort in your builds, you deserve this.

Mulţumesc mult,Bogi!

Half the participants were from Romania (Veliko Tarnovo is less than 180 km from Bucuresti, thus a tad more than 2 hours drive) and they brought splendid models!

Angel, Peter; thanks for the tip of the hat regarding this thread. It might have been my idea originally but we all have Angel to thank for carrying it through when I got sick.

Thanks to all who participated.

Thanks Peter!
It was nice to have you on board, mate!

Scratchbuilding is not dead and I believe it will not die in 3d printers age.
It can only be enriched and enhanced with the new opportunites technology progress offers!

Let's also thank Mike Koenig, who was the first to come up with the idea for this campaign 18 months ago!
for you, Mike!

Yes Cheers Mike. And thanks again for sharing the picture of the full tripod, it was an invaluable piece of info.

Great campaign Angel.

It was a pleasure seeing such talented modellers demonstrating their skills with some awe inspiring work to get us (me) not so talented motivated.

I'm actually contemplating starting something more challenging closer to the end of the year.... the bug has bitten.

It has come out really nice Robert. The addition of the side skirts really beefed it up. Great work. Thanks for joining in.

thanks both - did me good to have a kick to get this finished... also got me back on the baby T20 (about half the size of this at same scale) and thinking about the next - probably a caunter scheme Matilda
