Angel, hopefully you will share some of those trailer photos though I have no plans right now to build any trailers to go with this bridge.

I can't decide, I would like to model the completed bridge with trucks crossing, like the initial planning illustration, but that hides much of the structural detail below the deck. I also like the photo above where the trusses are in place and the wood decking is coming off the back of a truck and being installed??????

Decisions, decisions!

Definitely, Mike!

Just a small teaser for you:

Would you stand the challenge to build that wonderful (Pf.11) chassy?

I very much like your idea to make "A bridge in making"-it will be a show stopper for sure!

Sorry I had forgotten I cropped the "bridge under construction" photo. Here is the full version:

Wonder if that underslung parts box was original or added later?

It seems odd that this trailer was disassembled even to this degree. With a deck added such a trailer would be of great use around any farm.

I guess I answered my own question regarding the "parts box" slung beneath the trailer:

The box is original, Mike:

It had left and right side compartments, containing various spares and equipment as per loading instruction(Beladeplan).

But the moss covered and heavily weathered wooden construction next to the trailer is not original. Its presence proves the trailer was used after war-probably in some farm.

Boy, an over-turned vehicle photo! Angel you could not ask for a better reference unless perhaps the vehicle were sitting in you front yard!

From the same Axis Photo sites, this caught my attention:
Nice view from the top. Pf.11

And again naked one.

Good to know that. Was a bit confused about it. There is still a lot to learn from all those references. Super cool.

Keep digging,

Wow some great reference photos there. Photos from underneath or directly over the top are a jackpot for any project.

Some more reference. All come from the Axis Forum and are for discussion purposes only.

Those trailers are just awesome constructions. Would love to see those in 1/35 scale.

Kind regards,

I am making good progress on my predator battle tank for wh40k/wh30k.

Due to upcoming work I might be pressured to make it in time, but I will try.

More to follow soon

Take your time,Jesper!
I'll ask John for two weeks extension-hope you'll make good use of them!

I'm also reminding those modellers, who finished their builds, but did not upload at least 2 pictures to Campaign gallery:
https://gallery3.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php/cat/31391

to do so! Otherwise I won't be able to award you with your well deserved ribbon...

Hi Angel,

Thanks very much for hosting quite an interesting campaign!...or, in my case anyway, current obsession with building unnecessarily complicated projects! Lots of good and interesting projects, by many, having been accomplished along the way!

Yes, I'm good and ready for Scratch Building II!!

I uploaded some pics - to the gallery

Cheers and happy (scratch) model building!

Nick

It was pure pleasure having you on board!
Let's see the end of this Campaign and then we can discuss about the sequel

Keep scratchbuilding!

Great with an extension - I managed to finish in time though. Quite satisfied with the final result and looks nice despite being made up of small bits and pieces from the spares box.

Looking forward to see how everybody else finishes.

Okay, forgot the end of the build is getting close!

Basic build done. Camera now fixed into new tripod mount, tripod legs done, battery pack mark 2 (mark 1 is AWOL - here kitty, kitty ), camera case and case for spare film magazines.

sorry for the quality. No macro lens and if I pull back further they are just white blobs.
