Thanks for the review , the kit looks much better then the earlier releases, that looks very promising for the cougar kits they planning to release.. And with the new Set from Voyager this kit can be really nice i think. And with some radios from Blast models or from Michael on Shapeways.. Thanks again...

The upcoming voyager set:

leopard122, thanks for the link to the Voyager set. It is very badly needed. They seem to have skimped on the front cabin detail. I think there should be a net behind the front passenger seat also.

Regards,

Eric

Hello everyone! Does anyone out there know what the designation is for the version of the MaxxPro that carries the TOW turret? I haven't been able to find out if there in an M# associated with it. leopard122, In the Dash kit was a pamphlet that showed which MRAPs Panda has done or is doing. It showed PH35040 Cougar H A1 ISS. I have found some photos on Warwheels where there is a GDLS pamphlet that says the ISS is a version with an independent suspension. I don't know if Panda will have fixed any of the dimensional errors talked about at length on earlier threads. We can hope. I also hoped MENG would have done something to theirs, but it seems as though they wrote it off.

Regards,

Eric

Thanks for the info Eric that Panda models will release a new Cougar too.. That will be nice as we need that, hope it comes soon and is a new version of their erlier kit..
About the Meng cougar, i have been hoping for that also that they released a new version.. I think they had plans on that atleast as i was talking with one at legend production, Mr Lee 2 years ago probably or around that and he said then that they was waiting for meng model to release a cougar after help from Robert skipper ? Here on the forum that sells alot of great photos.. As they was going to do a update set then for that kit and the cougar they have now.. But probably they did cancel it as it should have come out now then otherwise i assume.. So let's hope panda continue to improve their Mraps kits :-)

About the voyager set, lets hope they will include the net behind the front seats too if it shall be that...

Missing parts on running boards, need some scratchbuild.

No towing bar for the front bar support.

The diameter of the transparent parts GP8 (rear lights) is too big for their location, I replaced them with lights from the defender 110 hardtop Hobbyboss kit.
