Great save there with the water truck Byron! I have tons of the water tanks left over as I would use those great hard cabs to convert all sorts of CCKW's to enclosed cabs. In the end I broke down and intentionally built one as a soft cab!
Would anyone out there have need of the water tank and associated parts from the Italeri kit? I hate to waste good plastic! IM me.

Hello everyone!
I had to take a break from the bench due to work but have been able to put a couple sessions in recently. Here is where ai am at with Dragons Bergepanzer IV. I wanted to make her look really field warn. I am thinking of doing a highly worn winter cammo as well but am yet to commit. Keep up the good work everyone!

Gotta say that Bergepanzer looksa mighty fine without any winter whitewash! I'd stick with it as-is...
As for me, I've got Red Ball markings in Tamiya's Jeep kit so that's my entry! (Not enough time left for a truck - I know the limits of my build/finishing speed.) Somewhere I have the matching CCKW with Red Ball markings, but maybe for a later campaign...

Ok every one. I'm back in the running. I decided that my domestic problem will not affect my modeling. As a matter of fact, it is helping me feel better. I may not be able to controll my destiny with my other half but I can find some happiness in my fantasy factory. The Weasel is back on the bench and I'm going for the finish line. Dam her and her lawyer friend, full speed ahead!!!

Containers - in this case a 20' refrigerated shipping container with scratch built generator and chilling (refrigeration) unit built into the end of the container.
I just started this project two days ago, on my birthday - July 27, 2019.
p.s. Not to worry that this is not a wheeled vehicle as I have already finished an Army HEMTT LHS and a Marine Mk28 LHS to carry these containers.

Tom it was just a little simple work with the jeweler's saw on the side and roof pieces and then removing the corner posts from those discarded sections. Then I had just to cut-off and rebuild the corner posts. The floor piece was used without change so that became the backbone for this project.
The rest (so far) was just adding carefully cut Evergreen plastic shapes to shore up that open structure at the end of the container.
Yes, building the Genset and the Chiller may prove to be a bit more of a challenge.

I still however, do not know if this project meets the requirements for this campaign. (But of course I was building this one anyway so it is not a vital consideration relative to my future plans for the model - no offense to anyone is intended in this statement.)

Now laying up the metal sheathed exterior foam insulation on the outside of the container box and starting on the base structure of the Genset.

Brief update on my Red Ball Jeep. I spent a few hours putting it together, and thought of a small scene for it because the engine bay was too nice to hide! I added some spark plug wires and distributor (& what I think is a coil?), then built a figure looking at the engine. He's from the Master Box artillery crew, with a little surgery, and will be wearing a Tamiya helmet because the MB ones are tiny...
Wheels are not attached yet, so it can all be painted in sub-assemblies. Still a few details to go, like T-hooks for the hood...

This Mk23 kit bashed model above actually took two Mk23 Cargo Trucks and one HEMTT LHS to assemble but fear not as all those left over parts are now in the process of becoming three other converted vehicles in their own right.
And a small detail from the HEMTT.
