Moving ahead (deadline getting closer):

Out of the box except barrel. It was resin in kit, but I didn't trust it wouldn't droop over time, so replaced it with brass rod and styrene tube.

So, it's just paint next...

Looks great, Pasi. Looking forward to see it with more color. 🙂

I have finished my sniper team from the Dust 1947 strategy game. I regret not taking a better picture before the camo netting. 🙄😉
I am calling these done.

Well, the carpet monster has claimed a stunning victory to date. i have lost PE, i have lost parts for kits but now i have actually lost the kit i was going to build for this campaign! I have hunted high and low and can not find it anywhere, so i have been forced to rummage through my stash and i came across the dragon US sniper team figure set so i have decided to use one or more of their figures rather than give up on the campaign.

so below are my starting point pictures including one of the figures still in their shrink wrap bag and a quick update of the start of one of the figures, i suspect that during our wedding plans thing have been moved around by my future wife and may have been hidden away for "safe keeping"

well i am making progress on this old dragon figure and i have begun to paint the cookie camo style, which is something i have never done before so i'm not sure how this will turn out. sorry for the poor picture quality as it was done using my mobile phone.

Pasi Ahopelto congratulations on finishing and who knows, i might see you in a sci-fi build soon :-)

ok so i just added a load of black dots to the camo, and will fill them in later on with "whit" to create the pebble/stone look on the camo. sorry about the poor picture quality but i did a quick picture with my mobile phone again.

ok, so here is another update this time with the pebbles added to the camouflage pattern, which you can clearly see on the legs of the figure. This is my first time at attempting this type of camouflage and i think it has turned out not to bad.

due to a recent family bereavement and all the issues that are involved with dealing with someone's estate who dies without leaving a will, I have decided to extend the closing date of this campaign.

I will add an extension of 2-3 weeks which should sort out the sale of the deceased's house and possibly finish the figures I am now working on, which by and large is almost finished.

ok, so this is where i am now at: i have finished painting the figure and i now have to work on the gun. the woodland camo on the flak jacket isn't as good as i would have liked and i would appreciate any help on that for the next time i attempt it.

I do, just trying to finish what I started.
Did not want to start a whole new thread at this point.

Maybe I'll move over to the Unfinished Business 2019 Campaign...
