Don't think they do a"Beetle".
Hope they do this:

Do some translation if you need.
It became a "Beetle" in the Sixties by the way, after a long fight with american standards about safety on roads with this vehicle.

Kind regards,

Robert Jan

It became the Beetle earlier than that; it was marketed as the Kafer in Germany before it became popular in the U.S. As far as road safety, that became an issue after Ralph Nader's unscientifically-approached investigative series on automobile safety was published in 1965. VW had been making all the necessary changes to comply with American laws/regulations. What really hurt it were all the environmental requirements imposed by California. The engine compartment was too small to accommodate the required equipment, so they could only go so far with it.

Yet none of the civilians on the stamp book program to purchase a Beetle ever received one because war got in the way.
