Nice work Neo, good idea with this bogged down vehicle. Congrats for the finished campaign.

Some update on my model.
For the machine gun mount, I didn't used parts given in the kit. And I guess Kinetic parts are wrong. Why a front shield in the kit ? There is not any front shield on the MK3 version.

I have built my own gun mount with the help of some pics.

On the gunner protection, all bolts were rebuilt because Kinetic made a complete mess of the bolts molding.

M2 machine gun is from Live Resin.
Ammunition belt is from AFV Club.
Duke antenna is from Blast Models.

Hi all
I managed to add all the missing accessories and the model begins to be a pain to handle. The final weathering stage won't be a piece of cake I fear.

Nice job Stephen. For your information, the handle of the MG magazines was leartherclad. The full metal handle is a post-war feature.

Sorry I don't know. Did you notice that those lines are not running all around the windows?

Good and original choice Kelly.

Yes I have noticed that, thank you. One side of the windows and the windscreens without line. Nothing on rear windows.

Okay, some update pics on the ShKh Dana. Proportions on this kit are way out so I am doing the best I can to work around the major components to fix the glaring issues. This means repositioning the access hatch, increasing the height of the depression, adding a more to scale support in the correct position, as well as reworking and adding general details to one turret half:

opening the window, lengthening the stowage door and adding the missing handle (part of which is now AWOL!) adding a port cover and positioning the button control in the correct place right up against the depression wall and making its recess and cable.

a lot more to go before I even finish these.. will post better pics when they are done.

Certainly a better choice than mine as far as part fitting is concerned. Which decoration will you choose? If it's the Polish one, take note that at least the BFT should not be present which is not clearly stated in the instructions.

Peter,
your dedication to improve this Dana draws you all my respect

Hi all
I consider this one finished. I added more dust to the lower part of the vehicle. Sand over tan is not really noticeable but there is more dust, believe me

Don't know if I'll give Panda Hobby kits another try.

Now I just need to find the gallery of this campaign. Enjoy your builds fellow members!

Oliver, after seeing the result I would say that you WILL buy another Panda model. You just showed that that extra ingredient needed for good looking model - is not in the box. Good job, keep on...
