Im in ... well I hope Im in. When this was announced the first time ... I started my chevy gun tractor that day and said I could join if it started immediatly. I have the chevy built now, and am in the process of building a 25pdr and limber to go with it.
Will this still be allowed to enter. If not I can always enter it in the "incoming campaign". But I had something else planned for that!
Let me know. If its OK for the campaign, use this post as my sign up for the group build.

Hey I am interested in this as well.....lol...since I haven't started my Arty build, my BM-21 GRAD could count for both....no? Either way......it would give me an excuse to blow the dust off of my M577 Command post, Canadian markings of course!!!

Count me in.

I dont think so. The idea behind group builds and campaigns was to get people building and more importantly finishing. Any campaigns before, one entry/one campaign was the case, but I guess its up to the campaign leaders to decide.

Well Im in! Great stuff. My chevy gun tractor will be canadian also ... Italy 44 camo and pulling tamiyas 25pdr and limber. Although I have most of the building completed at this stage ... OOB for both.... Im gonna be spending some time on the figures. I have loads of figures now for this type of setting .... british desert and dAK... and I want to do a bit of kit-bashing and modifications to get at leat 3 figures for this. I have been watching all these sculpting and figure threads recently and am dieing to try some of this. Looks like the perfect exceuse.

Are there any major differences on canadian uniforms. From what I understand, theirs and british are pretty similar (WW2)? Any good canadian or british uniform pages out there for reference?

Hi mate welcome to the build. But you will have to dust off the M577 command post as the BM21 is not allowed in this build due to the fact you already promised it to the 'incoming build..

- it's too soon after my "Bloommobile" project to decide just what I'm going to model yet. I'm recommending to Jim to elevate this idea to "Mission" (Campaign) status...

What exactly is being judged by the three judges? Best softskin model? Dio?

BTW according to the Germans and a number of Allied tankers, compared to Tigers and Panthers the Sherman is a softskin!! Too bad it misses the wheel requirement!!

OK Guys.. this has my interest :-)

Question.....

Would the Tamiya GMC 6x6, and the Roo Resin Radio Command Body conversion count? That was not intended to haul supplies, or troops for that matter?

I would really like to build this, and this campaign would be a perfect excuse :-)

Lemme know what you guys think...

Thanks-
Jeff

Hey....I'm game!!! Count me in for a GMC. Do you have to make a dio, or is a "stand alone"model also accepted?

Exciting...My first campaign, John.

welcome John. A stand alone model or a diarama it is your choise as long as the model fits the rules.

I've been kicking around the idea of converting a Horch into an ambulance version like the one in the Fine Scale book from a few years back. If an ambulance qualifies for this campaign, that would actually force me to take it off the drawing board and place it on the work bench. What do ya'll think?

Well since it's not ending until next year I guess I have the time if I can decide on a suitable subject. Probably just a jeep.
