Sorry - jumping in late here - as to the issue of loose drive sprockets; if the vehicle interior will allow, I will drill out the sprocket axle holes in the chassis tub and run that piece of plastic rod all the way across the vehicle for even more support for the sprockets. (Especially on Shermans! I wish I could do the same for the Sherman rear idlers but alas no.)

I'm confused? You realize this isn't a Sherman ?
On this vehicle you could cut off the mount and use a shaft all the way across the lower hull. The thing with the sloppy sprocket fit was just an easy fix, as the Sprockets on this kit were desighned to get glued on.
The Track whyle being workable keeps comong apart and is best glued together.
Regards.
Donald

Ps. The inside of the sprocket just has a thin back wall and nothing to mount a shaft to.

Man the instructions really suck on this kit.
They aren't clear where B5 goes, Here is how it goes.

This above is the engine cover.
If you don't install C33 & C34 first before the small armor plates you'll never get them in.

Trim to fit as shown.

Nice build im thinking about building one I have one question did the Army upgrade theirs to the M9A1 like the Marines did or was it just the Marines that did the upgrade?

I am implying that a shaft all the way thru might support the drive sprockets even better on this vehicle - then as an aside I said that I have encountered a similar problem when installing the drive sprockets when building numerous Sherman kits.

Sorry for not paying attention for a littlw while.
In your step #58 where you installed covers.
I am afraid I have some bad news ...
This image comes from a walkraound over at PrimePortal

The covers should butt up smooth against that mounting edge. Some plastic strips, maybe a little putty and some careful sanding should fix it.
