It has been quiet for a while. How is everybody doing with their projects? Will we still have to extend the end date to July? Or will everybody that is going to build something going to be finished?

Dave:

I'll gladly take an extension to July.

I got behind -- too many projects & you may have seen my post re the JMGT Rolls Armored Car which ate a good piece of my lunch.

Anyway, DW & LCM status:
-- Trailer: done (incl all the add-on stuff), primed, needs final glue & fingerprint check & then start painting.
-- Tractor: starting to assemble sub-assemblies, running brake lines (all over the place) now, and will move out smartly shortly.
-- LCM: finally started working it, getting hull ready to assemble so I can start on stressed siding.

I really will make an effort to get interim pix up within a week, and update my journal, etc.

John

I can probably finish in the amount of time allotted, but would not be adverse to an extension.

So I guess the extension will stay in place for the July ending date. For the those that complete on time I hope to issue them the ribbon and will issue to the others that complete by July.

I'll happily take an extension to July. For some reason I seem to have lost all enthusiasm for modellling right now, hopefully I can get it back soon.

I hope so too Pete. It is not the same without you contributing some of your fine examples.

I signed up to be in the campaign and I was going to build the Tamiya Dragon Wagon. My plan was to just build it out of the box and have fun with it.

For some reason, I had thought the build wasn't ending until toward the end of the year. I looked at the campaign listing a couple of weeks ago and saw that the end date was actually 5-30-05. My eyes almost popped out of my head. I gave up before I even started.

But, now that there is an extension, there is a realistic possibility of me building the kit. So I am going to get busy!!

You will love this kit. It is still one of my favorites to build.
